We have the chess pieces even though we’ve sucked on D

The guy that worries me most is Baskerville trying to contain Spiller all night

Hard to believe LSU dropped half a hundred on these clowns last year, even rested the starters the 4th quarter, and in less than a year Aggs are favored by 2 td’s. Dam crazy sh@t right there.

To be fair, they did score 70 on us the year before

The line is not surprising at all. I actually thought it would be closer to 17.

Disappointed to say this but I'd take TAMU and give up the pts.

Hope I'm wrong.

Ag here,

Taking y'all and the points. Here is why:

1. We haven't played a snap against anyone but ourselves in 3 weeks. Last time we had a long layoff we gave away 3 fumbles, had 9 drops, and had to turnover Vandy in our territory to ice the game. Chances are greater than 0 that rust set in and leads to problems, especially early.

2. 14 points in a "rivalry" game is a ton. Especially when one team is looking to avenge the worst loss in several years, and worst of Jimbo's career.

3. This defense has been beat over the top a lot. Sometimes we get lucky and the QB over throws or the WR drops the ball (South carolina had 2 sure touchdowns in the first quarter they couldn't complete). And sometimes teams hit those shots like Bama/Florida did all game and Arkansas did a couple times. LSU's receiving threats are better than every team we played not named Bama or Florida.

I know the Pelini D has y'all down and the losses have been infuriating after last year. But don't chalk this one up as a lost cause at all.

We were favored by 42 against Arkansas last year and they opened as 3 point favorites this year. I didn't follow too closely this year, but I think the line ended up being close to even with us being favored.

Anything can happen in one game but A&M has above an 85% chance of winning this game. Only in the kicking game LSU may be better. Every other matchup is hugely in favor of A&M. Unfortunately for LSU it will likely be an ugly score.

The only remote chance LSU has is to control TOP and run for at least 150 yds.... if they can’t do that then it’s like 41-20 A&M. If they can they could win but def cover.

Aggies are unproven and over rated.
