This kind of thing is very popular in the mid-Atlantic states. You see lots of Penn State alum plates in Virginia, Maryland, etc.

I've never looked into whether DC has a LSU plate. Somehow I suspect the premium would be more than a $20.

I couldn't find it on the list, so I really can't say. Estimating for 2007 only, looks like 7800 Aggie plates and 4500 or so UT plates.

Think i was mistaken, they have a version with the UT tower on it that is an older version, and i though the newer one was exclusive to TexasEx's membership but they are the same with a different printing/logo

Maybe the Aggies will rally at tea parties across the state of Texas. I look forward to the jokes about it.

From TexAgs.com

Good Gawd - if I ever saw a Texas plate with OU on it, my head might explode.

We really need to get an LSU plate here in Florida. Any other Florida Tigers out there that agree?

I believe DC has no school plates.

Maryland has lots, but our alumni association is tiny... not sure there are enough of us to get a plate, as much as I would like to. Both my parents in Mississippi and my brother in Texas have them.

I showed my Aggie coworker my confirmation email today for my new plates and he described it as an "invasion" of Texas.

My response to that is the State of Texas was nothing until being invaded by LSU folks...we made this state what it is today!!

It's all OK. I invited him to our alumni crawfish boil tomorrow. At least when we invade, we improve the situation

Got mine about a month ago. I drive a 2004 GTO that just happens to be yellow. It looks pretty sweet. The best part is watching all the T-sipers and Faggies get their panties in a wad.
