Aggie obsession- Texas A&M now referencing LSU football in classrooms

This is what an unhealthy obsession looks like. Little brother jealousy is deeply ingrained in Aggieland. LSU's dominance has left a really bad taste in their mouth.

Pretty much everytime I go out to eat here in College Station I hear some group of college kids talking about LSU, they really are obsessed

If I didn’t know how shite their fan base was I’d feel bad for them but no, I know how they are and it’s the reason they will never win anything. Too concerned with their overlords to even be able to begin to do anything about it. And that ‘win’ is debatable even.. LSU won that game a couple times and they walk around like they handled us and we didn’t just kick their arse for ten years straight. That beat down last year was one of the highlights for me.

My Nephew Graduated from there a few months ago with a Engineering Degree and he wore his Tiger gear around campus just to rub salt into the wounds,

I hate A&M with a passion. Always have, even before they entered the SEC. And I really want to see a genuine rivalry build between the fan bases.
I think most LSU fans just don't get it b/c they don't realize just how similar LSU and Tx A&M are as universities. Both have similar histories and very similar missions as a school and how they started. The military history, along with being 2 major land grant universities in the South, combined with being in neighboring states and a huge LSU alumni base near their campus, makes for a lot of strong connections and reasons why both schools would have a familiarity and dislike for one another.

Thought the Aggies were going to take the high road and would have guessed it was a lesson on how to be a winner. I obviously gave them WAY too much credit. A&M will forever be little brother to another school.
