After yesterday's game, my confidence in this team has gone to sh*t

Admittedly, the final score didn't reflect what I saw in the first half, but for some reason (maybe the QB controversy rearing its ugly head), I feel much less confident in this team beating Arky, UGA, Okie Lite...hell, anyone...than I did before yesterday.

I'm not saying the sky is falling. I just saw a "let down" yesterday (especially in the first half) that I didn't think this team was capable of. Turnovers, sloppy tackling, poor tackles, lazy defense, poor running up the middle (in the first half)....just generally, it felt like watching the team in 2010.

Again...THE SKY ISN'T FALLING!!! I just saw this team not look incredible for the first time this season, and it eroded my confidence.

Arky, UGA, etc...all could give us a game, IMO.

We were playing a DII school following our toughest opponent of the year. Get over it. We played worse against MissState and during the first half of WVU.

Part of being an LSU fan is having the chicken little mindset anyway. It's no big deal bro.

Hey, better to get it all out of our system against WKU than Arky, we'll be fine moving forward

Most frustrating and least enjoyable game to watch this season. Just like every game Jefferson started in his career. There's something about him as leader of the team that makes the games hard to watch.

First half may have been EWE-gly, but a Les Miles coached team will never pull a Miami of Ohio.....

Seriously Luke, chill......

There was a time when an LSU team would actually keep this game competitive.

No 1 did what No 1 is supposed to do while playing a lower tier school after their biggest win of the season.

Meet the letdown, and get through it by almost 5 touchdowns.

Nothing to see here.

I know, it was so hard watching us put up almost 500 yards of offense.

If you didn't expect a letdown after last week's game then I suggest you haven't watched a lot of college footvall OR you don't know anything about the human psyche.

So the first half of WVU, Kentucky, Miss St, Auburn didn't give you the same feeling? We all know what this thread is really about.

How about lsu after Alabama the past 3 years?

They do it every fricking year. They put it all on the field against Bama, then sleepwalk the following week. Why do you think we schedule a cupcake after Bama anyway?

You guys are really showing your IQ with this stupid shite.

Every football team that has ever run on the field is "capable" of playing flat and the vast majority have. Ole Miss will be easier to take seriously than WK because they are a conference game....even though WK beats Ole Miss if the two played each other. I guess your confidence will suddenly reappear when we whip Ole Miss and then play like the #1 team we are vs. Arkansas.

This is what I expect next week - a thorough trashing of a conference opponent like we have all year.
