This team has one, and only one real weakness, Mett has to quit forcing the ball. There are some other areas that could be stronger, but none that are really weaknesses. Get the QB to start throwing the ball away instead of into tight coverage, and LSU will go undefeated.

drastic loss of experience in the defensive backfield

LB too. We're missing guys coming out the backfield. Ronald Martin and Lamin Barrow both let their man run right past them. These guys surely aren't making those mistakes in practice, but in the excitement of the game it's different. They'll get steadier as the season wears on. That's why I don't count it as a real weakness. I remember Lionel Turner making the same mistake against Florida in 2003. It cost us our only loss that year.

Pass protection, both scores Sat. night were blown coverages. Hope this will improve when we have a quality opponent.

offensive playcalling

I said the exact same thing. The Idaho game was the first game I have been able to go to this year. Siiting in the stands gives you a whole different feel for what the offense is doing and should be doing that watching it on tv.

First, Idaho stacked the box most of the night and we never attempted to throw a ball over the middle of the field, everything was to the sidelines. It makes the safety have to choose where he is going and once he does, the QB should have the option to throw to the single coverage.

The aggrevating part, was hearing dumbass fans start yelling at Mett to get his head out of his arse when he threw the INT near the goal line. The whole time I was saying to throw the fade and see what kind of touch he has and if that play can be something we can go back to later down the road. But instead, we call a 5 yd out that the DB squats on and runs back to the 5 yd line. Mett was simply running the play that the coaches called, which was a stupid play call to begin with.

I am really worried about what is going to happen when we have to throw the ball out of 4 and 5 receiver sets. We very rarely ran more than 2 receiver patterns. I hope the line can hold up and give Mett time to throw the ball.

still worried about the O Line against elite competition. Losing Faulk was a big blow and we haven't played anyone that will test us on the edge yet. Lemonier for AU will be a good test this week.

pretty much says it all.
