c'mon dude i have never seen some body get done that way over a horn, ther was clearly more to the story than that. besides that ther is no rule book to a bar fight, if you let yourself be in the position to get kicked in the head, then you should obviously not talk shite

when the thing with Krags went down, I knew this season was going to be a bust....and damned if I aint right with the gut feeling AGAIN......

but are you freaking kidding with the "breaking curfew" stuff?
No, I am not kidding in the least. This isn't high school football. This is the highest level of college football.
If the head coach has no credibility with the players, you can forget ever competing for the MNC. If the players can openly defy the curfew set by the head coach, he has no credibility.
When the team leader breaks the rules, it becomes pretty easy for the rest of the team to follow suit.
It is really pretty simple.

I will say this. And this is the first post that I have made on the subject, because I waited to hear the truth. First a lot of stupid people owe T-Bob an apology. Second, curfew aint that big a deal. But if JJ kicked a defenseless person in the face while he was on the ground, I don't want to see him behind center ever again. It is time to put the big boy pants on. I have witnessed this type of thing up close and personal and it is cowardly. Both Jarrett LEE and Mett would have to have a broken leg and Randle would have to be sick, before I would let him play. Tenn. had a similar situation last year and I said the same thing about those thugs. Blowing a frickin horn to get someone to move does not justify being dragged out of your truck and beaten. Les needs to quit pampering this pouter and start someone with character.
I don't think we've heard the entire story quite yet.

So the 10 witnesses are lying? Chumps are chumps. Whatever the man did beside blow his horn should have been laughed off. What's the big deal?
Posted on 8/21/11 at 12:52 am to rickyh
I'd be interested to know who the 10 witnesses are. by that, I mean, are they affiliated with the victims because that would definitely matter in my eyes. Random people or family/friends of the supposed victims in this?

just because they get locked up dosent mean they are guilty, a court still has to prove that they are
I am looking forward to your next nugget of wisdom.
BTW, where did you get your information that the guy was talking shite?

The news reported that BRPD had 6 statements. All of which were from friends of one of the victims. I'm sure they're not biased at all. I really can't wait to hear the player's statements.

Well that is a pretty shitty way to get testimonies. Yea, those definitely won't be biased at all considering they're buds and all.
This story just has some holes in it that don't make sense to me. I could definitely see this turning into a their word against mine unless some actual evidence pops up like a video. I mean, were those witnesses intoxicated considering they were at the bar too? Will their testimonies be enough? Because I'm sure the football players who were there and didn't fight would be willing to tell a different side to protect their buds too...
Willing to put any amount of money this story is somewhere between what is being said. In that, those guys were likely just as guilty as the football players. Drunk, stupid and not knowing when to shut up.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge Police say LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson "and several other LSU football players" were implicated by witnesses as being involving in a fight in the parking lot of a bar near campus, a police spokesman said.
Several people who claim to have witnessed the incident tell 9NEWS that around 2 a.m., a young man driving a truck blew his horn to get a group of people blocking the driveway to move at Shady's on E. Boyd Ave. That's when they say a group of people pulled the driver out of the truck and began beating him. When a friend of the driver, a Marine who had just returned from training, ran to assist the driver, he was also beaten and thrown to the ground. Ten people who claim to have witnessed the incident say LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson then kicked the Marine in the head.

This aint the OJ Simpson trial where it was a conspiracy by the LA police to set him up. Hell, I don't know who the 10 witnesses are who stepped up and claimed to have seen the same thing. How do any of us know? But are you kidding me family and friends? What do they have to gain by lying?

Per Sgt. Donald Stone of BRPD,
Four people received minor injuries and went to area hospitals immediately after the incident, Stone said. He said the four are "cooperating fully," and that if probable cause exists for charges, they will be filed.
"They had bruises and cuts, they were battered," Stone said. "I foresee charges coming. We don't know by who. These guys in turn may have been the aggressors."

JJs dad told media he talked to JJ Friday and JJ says he didn't know anything about any fight, he was in his room all night.

Did they have a curfew? Just wondering. Ive seen players getting wasted the thursday night before gmaes all the time. Ones weve won and lost. The only diff here is that it happened 16 days before the game. Not 2.
