Yes we should have caught the ball better but to say UCLA is not very good is wrong, they are good. Our defense was disappointing and Max didn't play well. This loss is half players and half coaching.

We will know how good our coaches are after the Miss St game.

OL didn't give Max enough time and DL didn't get sufficient pressure and LBs were awful.

We convert a few more plays and they get less chances to run.

Like the three third and longs they converted that led to scoring drives.

If If If. Both LSU CO's were out coached and neither side acted like the didn't watch any video.

Agree. I don't think the over and over dropback calls helped him either.

Blow state out? Not concerned with blowouts just want major improvement and win the games. We looked not very well coached against UCLA. Better correct that before worrying about blowouts.

While agree that there were a few missed big play opportunities due to Max being inaccurate

Those two change the complexion of the game early. Help bolster LSU's confidence and keeps UCLA's a little in check, possibly.

1) Chip Kelly out foxed, coached and schemed us both offensively and defensively. That’s on Coaching. He created a ton of consfusion we never got fixed.

This is definitely true. Could LSU having a lead shrunk his playbook at all? I don't really know. It is quite possible things go south even with those two TDs.

2) Physicality and tackling - UCLA looked more like the SEC Team than we did.

True as well, That needs to be addressed even if it may have been different with LSU ahead. We need to play better and with more intensity.

3) No run game - 49 yards versus giving up over 200 yards was atrocious.

A better pass game would probably open up the run game. But this is a big sore spot for me.

Ultimately, my thoughts are better early play, especially QB accuracy, may have won this game for us. But if there is a silver lining here, and it's an ugly one if it is one, it is that those problems exist even if we had won and this shines a very bright light upon them.
