this thread had the exact result you were looking for... like dogs fightin over a biscuit.
and this bama game made me even more confident that LSU "upsets" bama. I say that because although LSU is #1 and bama is #2, it's LSU, as usual, that is expected to play up to bama's level... we shall see... look out tide, the storm's a comin

I can't believe there's even a question. Hell yeah we can beat them!
Come Nov 5th, Bama will be facing a real defense. So will we.
The difference, I think, is our secondary- and that The Mad Hatter will once again use a little trickery to slay the crimson beast.
LSU wins in a VERY close one- won the the last 4 minutes.

No they are not...
The media doesn't think so and many fans on this board don't either.
LSU should, therefore, forfeit that game and rest up for Arkansas (which many fear as well) hoping to beat them and secure a spot in the Sugar Bowl.
Cut your losses and don't even attempt the impossible?

I think LSU has several advantages:
1. Better trickeration
2. Greatly improved Clockage
3. Les is bringing grass from home to eat. (THe grass at Bama reportedly gives him gas.)
4. Bama players don't like to score as many points at home. Even they hate to hear that "Rammer Crammer Pink Pajama, We have a lot of alums in the Slammer" song.
