Being raised around Barksdale back during SAC days, I do remember water injection.

Is the longest serving combat aircraft in history and is slated to stay around until at least 2040. Also one of the best returns on tax payer investment in history.

Very nice pic!

Come see us at SHV when we get our ILS back up and do some practice approaches to get our traffic count up.

Nothing like those 500 lbs dropped from the B 52s shaking the ground for miles around. We all wondered why not send those bad boys to Hanoi, well gen. Giap a NVA wrote "if the U S would have bombed Hanoi the war would have ended much sooner"

Too bad agent orange was such a disaster

Wow..., that's my exact same story except left as an E-5.

Cheers bro!

Nice shot, really don't understand the lack of flyovers. I understand "saving money", but seems they could just use as part of training mission. I have seen a Buff flyover at Independence stadium, I think it was Tech/Miami.

Whats the word on the 4 Bone's we saw coming into Barksdale Saturday?

Don't know. They weren't on the airfield today. Don't believe it was anything "special."

I heard the fly over from my office downtown, then saw the big bird as it headed northwest. Awesome
