What a dickbag.

LINK

quote:

There’s little doubt that Hill, senior Alfred Blue and junior Kenny Hilliard will see carries this fall. Magee only has six in his career, and the number might not grow much.

In reality, attrition might be the best avenue for Magee, who rushed for 62 yards on seven carries in the second half the spring game.

That's messed up.

Magee is going to have a chance to shine with fournette next year anyway.

We utilize more backs in a season than any program in the country.

Not to mention that there is a good chance that all hill, Hilliard, and blue wont be back next year.

Magee will get carries. I bet he racks up some monster yards during garbage time of a rent a win game. Then 50 threads a day will be started saying that he needs more carries.

I didn't see where he advised him to transfer. I suppose it could be implied.

I didn't discern the same message from the article. Attrition at any position benefits those waiting a turn.

And it's just a flawed POV, as well...

These writers no longer report on anything, they all have to add their own input in as well. They fail to realize that, especially at the local level, nobody gives a shite about their opinion.

The Advocate has a very long record of having shitty as frick writers in the sports dept. Just as an example we can see the columns by the great one himself Glen Gilbeaux.

Either the reader or the writer doesn't understand how to use the word attrition.

I read the article and fail to see where transfer is being advocated. If it is then its a very poorly worded sentence.

What I gather from the wording is that the writer believes attrition at the RB position is McGee's best chance at seeing substantial PT.

Where did the writer suggest that he transfer? Do you think that's what attrition means?

They troll message boards & try to light fires with their personal "insight" so their articles will be discussed & they will feel relevant.

transfer for what? so that he has more of a potential to get injured due to more playing time? if this dumbass thinks that we don't place rb's in the league on shear talent alone, he's a fricking retard.

it's not stats that scouts look at.

signed,
michael ford and keiland williams

Absent injury issues in the future, Magee will leave his mark. He's a talent.

I can't believe some of you are blindly falling in line with the title of the post. Read the article yourself. The OP clearly misunderstood the article. If the writer implied anything it was for McGee to hang around until his time comes.

I didn't read the article, I admit it, but now I don't care to read it.
