They operate under the same guidelines as a court of law. If they didn't anybody could start a rumor and the NCAA fire and sanction coaches. The NCAA is NOT ABOVE THE LAW!!! As some idiots tend to believe. For anyone to be fired or for any sanctions to be imposed on a university or a coach there still MUST be actual PROOF and EVIDENCE of wrongdoing.
