I worked in the suites for a season a few years back and it blew my mind how many seats were paid but unused.... And the number of 6-10 year olds playing on their parents phones in the corner eating chicken nuggets.

Have some of you idiots even been to a game in the expanded stadium. MSU game was wall to wall at kickoff and each side upper was full to the corners. I saw almost no empty seats that night.
Also the 102800 capacity does not include SRO which could go another 3000. The suites have 15 seats but can have 30.

Ole Miss was legit 100K+. They said 102,321.

That's because it's filled with old farts who don't like late games. The very least they could do is give their tickets to friends/family.

LSU doesn't report actual attendance for football. Almost no one reports actual attendance for football. So we'll never know what the actual attendance was. There's basically no point in discussing it, so I don't know why people keep bringing it up.
Coincidentally, LSU is one of only a very small number of schools that reports the actual attendance for baseball games. The number that they announce over the speakers in Alex Box is the bogus "paid attendance" that most schools report, but in the notes posted about the game at lsusports.net, they do include the both the "attendance" as well as the actual attendance.

bama has sold its ticket allotment, so some of those seats that have been empty will be full this time. O.Miss actually returned a 1000 or so.In their dream season. That's why their newly renovated stadium only seats 60K or so.

To be fair, their enrollment is about half of that of LSU.
