Seriously............it's comments like this that are fricking retarded..........

If the 2007 LSU team played the 2010 in 2010 with the possible 5 1st round draft picks on D.........the line would have been 4 at most.

UNC has 19 returning starters on this team........LSU is getting a ton of respect on the talent we field alone...........and I'd bet a significant amount of change if LSU takes care of business week 1 and wins in defining fashion you will see them in the top 10 in all major vegas rankings going to Florida.

I can't and won't disagree with you.

Miles, simply put, is terrible as a favorite as HC of LSU.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I think your statement should hold true.

I've always thought Miles doesn't get the most out of his talent. Just my opinion, but this may explain why LSU is terrible as a favorite.

You also are proving to be a pretty poor historian and statistician........because in 2005 2006 and 2007 LSU was over 70% ATS as the favorite. The slip has only occured in 08 and 09.

LSU was posting big times pts in JRus and Flynn blowing out Non-conference opponents.

If you take off your Les Miles hater glasses you could objectively see that he probably has a 60% clip ATS in his career at LSU.

There's better ways to sweat your money than riding it on the Les Miles train.

He'll never recover from Ole Miss last year. But, enough about him.

I wouldn't bet against LSU here.

There's been enough talk and negativity this off season to motivate them in this game. Don't forget we're talking SEC vs. ACC on a dry, domed field.

I am far from a Miles supporter, but don't put too much emphasis on the head coach in this one.

Logic and perspective can't help the anti-miles crowd.

And how does this prove he doesn't get the most out of his talent? He wins against teams he isn't suppose to beat and then he doesn't cover a line against teams he is?

What is different about the 08 and 09 teams vs 05, 06 and 07?

I don't have any numbers to prove your numbers wrong (away for business), but whether or not I like him as a coach is not the point. I look for the best opportunity whenever possible, for whichever team I decide to play on/against, to make money.

You've got to be shitting me for asking this question?

Two legit differences.........

08.........Experienced qb play, no D
09........ Experienced qb play and a running game.

Digging a little and here is what I have found ...

quote:

The Tigers went 3-4-1 ATS against other teams from the SEC, and 2-3 in non-conference play. They are 25-35-4 under sixth-year head coach Les Miles.

And LSU was always fight outrageous lines in 07.......17.5 pts against an SEC opponent........come on.........8 against Florida with Tebow..........come on..........Auburn 10.5 come on...........just because you don't cover a line doesn't make you a bad football team.

Lines are developed to make casino's and bookies money not to show how good a football team is.

How can you not see that?

Running from what I guessed based of what I betted the pass 6 years.........

I'm not gonna run from a guy who doesn't realize that 25-35 ats isn't what counts.

what counts is your record SU, how many SEC titles you have, and how many NC you have.

Thats what counts.

Since you are a Saban disciple........what was his record ats at LSU? You'd probably be shocked.
