I simply enjoy reading a perspective, right or wrong, from someone that is not too close to either program.

If you are reading any handicapper this is always the case........unfortunately that guy isn't great at what he does.

As for Mark Lawrence..........I felt more passion than perspective in his excerpt.

Simply put most books locally probably won't even post a line...........my two guys aren't running one so that should tell you something about your money........

This opener has entirely to many unknowns to gauge any legit perspective.

Before NC's problems........it would have been a pick em likely so I can easily see it..........

Now........it'd be hard to argue.

In order to draw action, unless they are simply scared and don't want to get too loaded on LSU, their will be a line. It may be circled to limit the action (no teasers, no parlays, limited amount on side).

And all online books will have a line by the game rolls around. Right now, LSU is 3.5 at some spots.

LOCAL BOOKS........of course they are scared.........until a lineup is set for NC no one would want money being played.

Its conceivable that LSU could score 42 pts alone if 9 starters are out........that would cover the over and give the spread easily.

Depends on what book you look at

187 NCAR +1 -1 +1.5 40.0 -0.0 39.5 n/a 6% 5%
188 LSU -1 +1 -1.5 -0.0 n/a 94% 95%

1st one is spread, second is o/u

You also have 2 posts and scream signs of an alter.........

and that statement makes you even less believable.

ETA: Nice edit. What he really posted is that he likes UNC without the players straight up.

Austin, Little, Sturdivant, and both corners is my guess.

Austin and Little still being investigated for agent issues.

Studivant had off-season DUI and other off field problems.

Corners have received the most smoke surrounding the tutor thing.

If this happens, I expect LSU to run away with this game and maybe go over by themselves.

The SEC has a good history of scoring a lot of points in this game against fairly good ACC defenses.
