No need to call someone dumb, we’re all friends here. And he’s correct. LSU is painfully thin at DT. If that weren’t the case, why is the coaching staff moving him to DT, especially considering the center position has been an issue?

We aren’t thin at DT. It would be nice to have Fitzgerald on the line where we really need him.

It’s actually a very smart roster move by the coaches, a proactive one. They aren’t gonna wait till Roy/Guillory go down and scramble for a player to step up. It’s roster management 101. West isn’t gonna be able to help in any way, shape, or form this year on the OL. He is just learning the center position as he was a DT coming in. It’s easier for a freshman to spell some reps at DT than learn the center position.

We have currently 3 guys in the rotation at DT. The other two on the roster aren’t contributing and young. That isn’t what I would say deep. What are you talking about
