The consensus from the callers, the hosts and the Bama players that come on as guests... No team can beat Alabama. If they were to lose, it wouldn't be because of their opponent, it would be because Bama beat themselves. The thing that Saban fears the most seems to be happening...arrogant complacency. I hope they roll Miss St too , so they will roll into TS feeling the same way.

Here's to Bama beating themselves again...badly.

My recollection is that this was their nearly unanimous excuse for what happened in Tuscaloosa last year. There's gotta be something in the water there. There's no other explanation for an entire state being profoundly delusional.

Of course not. Those dumb fricks barely thought anyone could beat them when Shula was coaching them, much less now.

You can't make up the delusion that spews from the airwaves in central Alabama. These aren't opinions...these are facts. One caller said Alabama is like Usain Bolt. They seem to think all turnovers or special team plays are never caused by the opponent, but rather always self inflicted wounds.

They are overboard in favor of their team at least. Most LSU fans are overboard against our team and coach.

The news gets better and better. If this Bama team can stay focused amidst all the hype, more power to them. Few teams can.

Why would you want his bookie? What he said means LSU would be -8.5. I'm not thinking you would want to take that.

Finebaum is just the afternoon loony bin show. WJOX has local shows from 6am-2pm. It's a Gumpfest mixed with a couple whipping boys just to keep it intersting. Iheartradio has it. It's rich, to say the least.

Good.

I hope they hammer MSU and come into Tiger Stadium with that attitude.

Don't care. Pretty typical of any local radio show's calllers where their team is good, undefeated.

Still don't care. Again, pretty typical.

Bama players

Interesting. Which players and what did they say? I imagine they are repeating Saban's mantra of focus on what you do and what you can control and the results will come and that they also have a lot of respect for other teams. I hear this ad naseum from player press conferences. Would be interested in who the players are and their quotes and whether your interpretation is accurate for what the players are saying.
