Win and we are SEC #3, lose and we drop to #7. The bowl game difference is huge.

SEC Bowl Selection Process
Unless you think a 9-3 LSU would be a lock for the Citrus, the record or SEC finish has nothing to do with what bowl takes us

Hardly. It's the difference, however, in the bowl game.
Go 9-3 and play Penn State, Northwestern or Michigan in the Outback or Citrus Bowl. 8-4 could mean a date in the Liberty, vs Texas! Personally I prefer the latter.

It's the most critical because nobody who does this "yell leader" crap deserves to win any game. It's the gayest thing I've ever seen.

Win and it’s one of the better turn arounds I’ve seen. This will create a lot of momentum on the trail.
