A very non-basic day for basic Bo Nix

It has to be a special day for basic bo. The guy that raised him Patrick Nix in attendance in the stadium that birthed Bo. His real dad Twillie is the guest captain. It’s got to be pretty emotional for those named Nix.

This game makes me feel old.
I was a student in the stands near the corner of the end zone when Patrick Nix completed that famous pass to Troy Twillie.
Now his son is coming to Tiger Stadium.

I’d be concerned as an Auburn fan if the supposed leader of my team needed a parent on the field to calm him in difficult environments.

I was there too as a student that game. I know the season was far from our best, but that was one of my favorite games ever in TS and I have been to some special ones.
