Nicholson Gateway Fan Zone

Located off of Nicholson Drive just west of Tiger Stadium and adjacent to the LSU Foundation Building (site of old Alex Box Stadium), the Nicholson Gateway Fan Zone is a new interactive entertainment area for fans of all ages. Admission is free and includes a climbing wall, inflatable games, food and drink, music and a HD video wall that will feature live games from across the country. The Fan Zone opens five hours prior to kickoff and closes at kickoff.

The Chute

A premium area open to anyone 21-and-older with a ticket to the game. Located on the ground floor on the south side of Tiger Stadium, The Chute opens 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to kickoff and gives fans an opportunity to purchase beer and food while watching the game and highlights on a giant HD video board wall as well as numerous big screen HD TVs. Admission to The Chute is $20 a person and includes two beverages. Additional beverages can be purchased for $6 once inside the premium area. Food in The Chute is provided by Burgersmith and Papa John’s. Located between gates 23-28, The Chute closes at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Water and soft drinks are also available for purchase in this area.

The Louisiana Fish Fry Skyline Club

Added in 2017, the Skyline Club is now sponsored by Louisiana Fish Fry. Located atop the south deck of Tiger Stadium, The Louisiana Fish Fry Skyline Club features an all-you-can-eat special menu that is included in the price of the ticket. Beer and wine are available for purchase in the Skyline Club. Tickets are still available for games against Ole Miss ($60), Mississippi State ($60) and Rice ($25). Tickets for the Louisiana Fish Fry Skyline Club can be purchased at www.LSUtix.net.

Block Party

New for 2018 is Block Party, a full-service tailgating experience located at The Oaks at Patrick F. Taylor Hall as well as the Parade Grounds (student only area). The Block Party features a premium reserved tailgating area with setup, breakdown, and service from the Block Party staff. Block Party tailgate spaces are available for all seven LSU home games. To reserve your spot, call 225.240.1685 or email lsu@blockpartypresents.com.

Burgersmith will also be available in the South lower area of the stadium.

On the Westside of Tiger Stadium, look for the new “Kitch Concept” area which will feature a full grab and go shopping area, similar to what you have seen often in airports, offering vegan options, Big Squeezy Juices and an abundance of other offerings, including fresh acai bowls. Big Squeezy will also be selling their offerings in the lower South area.

In the South upper area, the cooks will be working with the fryers available in that area sell fresh fried seafood baskets and chicken tender baskets. Firehouse Subs will be available in the South, East and West sections of the stadium with Italian subs, turkey subs and those fresh made fire house sub brownies.

Also in your search for the quintessential LSU concession items how about these – The new Tiger Tot Tower – a load of tator tots covered with Bar-B-Q pork, hot cheddar cheese and green onions. Then there is the newest thing to come to the West upper area – Spiral Pizza. Think pepperoni and cheese pizza served in a pizza-crust shaped cone.

What should be a nice line time-saver is that there will be 10 refill stations in the stadium allowing fans with a refill sticker on their souvenir cup to get their refill without going back to a concessions stand. Fans will also be allowed to purchase drinks in these areas.

There will be some concession favorites kicked up a notch this year including foot-long Coney Corndogs and Bayou Poppers made with fresh Kettle Corn. Along with the traditional sausage po-boy is the “swamp” sausage dog which is a traditional Manda Sausage po-boy covered in peppers and onions.

Finally, for a little dessert after tailgating before heading in to the stadium, how about the Beignet Box. This will be located outside across from gate 22. The Box will be making fresh beignets and coffee and there will be a seating area. And, if you miss the beignets outside, stands inside the stadium will offer beignets by the Beignet Box.

Edit: Additionally...

All restrooms and concessions throughout Tiger Stadium have been renovated.

There's now a total of 48 restrooms in the lower bowl, separate from the UD and premium areas. LSU not only renovated all existing bathrooms but added 10 new bathrooms. The new bathrooms include a new 1,900-square foot bathroom in the south end zone. The renovated bathrooms now include baby changing stations

The concession stands were renovated by Aramark as part of the contract with LSU. Renovations began following the end of last season.

LSU also installed 831 new HD flat screen tv's throughout the stadium.

Doesn't look like it, man. But it should be easy for fans in the north to get to either the east or west areas and enjoy the new offerings.

The west and the south are connected, but I think the north is isolated.

The East Upper is the only section that’s truly separate. You can get everywhere else in the stadium.

Well at least they'll be working. That alone is an improvement.

My advice: get in line early. I expect that The Chute is gonna fill up right after gates 23 to 28 open.
