Outside of Helaire, there is not a RB on LSU roster that would scare me as a SEC opponent and Helaire is not really a grind it out type back.

Saw the highlights of the Cal guy, impressive but he is coming off knee surgery.

Who knows if Curry or Provens are ready for speed of SEC and picking up blitzes in pass protection.

OLINE and RB are two biggest concerns on this team.

Cal transfer would be a one year deal and would not upset your RB board for next recruiting class.

I'm guessing he spent some time in the huddle with Goff. Can't hurt, bring him on.

Nah. RB, sure. OL is behind CB and QB on my list of concerns though. If Vincent or Greedy goes down, we could be in some serious trouble.

For six years in a row LSU has had an absolute beast starting at tailback, from Jeremy Hill to LF7 to Guice. This was vital considering the lackluster QB play for much of that timeframe. We need to keep this position strong. The fact that we are shopping for a transfer RB in April does not inspire confidence, but if this kid can play, let's get him.

I would rather keep the spot open to sign 26 next year. Our RB depth is fine.

This back is not at all what LSU fans are use too. This kid is coming from the PAC-12, this means spread offense. If you look at his highlights, you will see a him catching a lot of balls. He is not running between the tackles or picking up blitzing linebacker. This is the SEC where teams load the box with eight or nine. I could possibly see the need if he was a 235lbs bruiser.

Agree.

Disagree. He's a very stout guy and will be able to take a beating in between the tackles. Think Ray Rice body type.

Also think Curry will be this type of back and will be #2 by the time the year ends. He's a tough and strong SOB.

I'm pretty sure it can with early enrollees.

This would not be a "back counted" signee, neither would the Stanford CB. They take away open spots on the roster, for which we have 27 spots.

Those 2 over 25 could go to early enrollee 3-4 year players.

But I'm not 100% here, that's what recruiting board says.

I find it hilarious, amusing and completely ridiculous at the same time how no matter what O does, to some people, it's terrible....YES, he royally fricked up at CB this cycle, he goes and gets INSTANT depth/competition from a quality CB, and ALOT of people were bitching about RB next, he's now trying to address that was best he can FOR NOW....and people have a problem with that, as far as bringing in transfers to fill a class/ when you have space....Fehoko, Giles and Moss all look to be contributers this year especially Giles and Fehoko. He wanted better WR coaching he went and got(regardless of his age) one of the best...Am I saying Os going to make it all work or that I agree with everything he's done, no way, but give credit where it's due. When he's identified a problem area he at least attempts to fix it
