Yes! The same one that has also lost less than 2 games in a season all of ONCE in 11 years! It blows my mind that so many are expecting an undefeated or 1 loss season in 2016 with games @ Wisconsin, @ Auburn, @ Florida, @ Arkansas, and vs Bama. I'll be very surprised if we don't lose a minimum of 2 which means another underachieving year which I've grown to expect under Miles.

If LSU losses more than two games I would be surprised. Thus team is LOADED. Keep cam on the sideline and this offense will explode. Scary good. The defense has speed that no team can match IMO. I have a feeling the Wisky game will be a BIGTIME statement game similar to the va tech game in 2007.

Florida will be worse this year than last. Don't see them being a threat.
Bama at home will be tough. Coukd see that going either way.
Arky will be tough but they lost a good bit on both sides. Tigers will be favored but a loss wouldn't shock me.
10-2 is the floor imo with ole miss and Bama being the only 2 games lsu won't be favored in.

If you are expecting a team to lose 2 games and then they lose 2 games how is that underachieving? They are doing exactly what you think they will do.

I wasn't speaking of underachieving relative to my predictions Hoss. Unfortunately i go into every season expecting 2 losses with Miles coaching because that's what he does year in and year out.
I was speaking of LSU's expectations nationally where they will be in the top 5 in every pre-season poll.
Top 5 team + 2 plus losses = Underachieving

i can't argue with your points because what you point out are facts. here are some more facts:
LSU had more players on NFL rosters on opening day of 2015 than any other college. LINK
LSU (5) had the most players ranked in the top 100 recently behind only Georgia (6). LINK *Whitworth was a Saban recruit, but still...
Since the 07 championship, LSU has exceeded pre-season expectations only twice (2010 & 2011) in 8 years. LINK
I think these all prove my point that Les does less with more than any other coach except maybe Richt who just got canned at UGA for being a perennial underachiever. Hopefully if he loses 3+ this year we will actually have the balls to fire him.

Since 2005 there are 3 coaches in cfb that have achieved more than MILES. 3.
Saban,Meyer,and Stoops. There 4 coaches in cfb with multiple title appearances since 2005 and Miles is one of them.
Youre basing your underachievement on what Saban has done at Bama.

No! i'm basing it on the links i provided above numb nuts!
Even so, Saban has 5 NC and Meyer has 3, plus an undefeated season, while Miles has only 1 NC with equal talent and Miles almost fu&*ed himself out of the 1 he got by losing 2 games in 07. he's nowhere near the caliber of coach saban and meyer is. that's not even up for debate anymore.

I'm not saying you are wrong in that they are underachieving if they have 2 losses as I believe anything less than an SEC West championship is a disappointment. I think this team can go undefeated so a 2 loss season will be underachieving in my book
My point was that if YOU are saying they will lose 2 games no matter what because Miles is the coach then YOU have no right to call them underachieving when they do. This team reminds me more of the 07 team then any team since then with the one exception being that this team has a QB with a full season of starting experience.
