I think our defense is better than those defenses and i think stats back that up
But let's try this - hypothetically - let's say that our defense is comparable to these defenses and that we have some chance of holding you in the 20s lioke Auburn did - just a chance - OK
Can you not recognize that our offense is significantly better and more explosive than those offenses ?
Our whole premise is that our defense will slow your offense down more than your defense will slow our offense down. is that really so impossible as to justify all of the name calling and insults here.
Can you guys not just discuss football with someone who is not drinking the LSU kool-aid ?

Myself and several other posters have offered you a rational explanation on why we think LSU wins.
It sounds like you want us to just concede that Clemson wins.
So your question could easily be turned around toward you.

Could you have beat the two together cause that is the closest SEC analogy I can render.

Wait, I've heard the clemson high school teams BS before, but OSU - really ?
I mane is it even possible for anyone outside the SEc to have a great football team ?
Maybe each of the SEC teams should have a conference of their own - which they would dominate and we all would feel so honored just to get to participate.
Then the CFP could just be a sort of SEC conference tournament.

You're entitled to that opinion but to claim that your defense is objectively better is a stretch. It's impossible to compare stats due to the disparity in competition.

In their one game against a good defense it looked pretty pedestrian. Again it's hard to compare.

And our premise is that everybody has said that all year but nobody has done it yet. Can it happen? Sure. If it does you absolutely deserve to be champion. But we've become a little jaded at all the pre-game chest thumping followed up by a 50-burger.

Truly mean-spirited insults are uncalled for but on this forum you need to have a thick skin. We like to give people shite and expect to get it back. We respect that. We don't respect a fanbase that whines about getting tiger-baited (looking at you Oklahoma).
And if you think you're going to convince anybody here that Lawrence is better than Burrow, shame on you. You ought to know better.
