How much before the game should we arrive to really get the full death valley experience without rushing with traffic and getting into the stadium. We are driving in from North Louisiana.

The band's pregame song/routine starts around 15 minutes before kick IIRC. I'd be sure to get there before then.

For a 6:00 kick, get close to the stadium no later than 10 min before 4

Depends on your age and if you will have kids with you.

I would say get there at 4 for victory watch and band. Especially if you bringing kids. Then maybe walk around a little bit and go into the stadium

Be at stadium a little before 4:00, particularly if you had kiddos, station yourself between the north side of the stadium and Maravich Center, street side. Just ask folks where you can see the band and team come down victory hill. I think you should count on getting to campus by no later than 2:00 to find parking walk around and enjoy the tail gating.

Arrive late and you risk the cursing grandmothers taking a few inches off your seat space.

With the game a sell out and the usual traffic headaches, I'd get there around noon if you want to see it all. With kick of for 6 and you get there for 4, you'd have 1.5 hrs to try and see all that there is to experience. With kids and a S.O. bring a roll of toilet paper as the bath rooms will be a mess. MUST SEE: the band coming down the hill.Get there early for that.
