the DJ (you or your underling) immediately began blasting some weird techno Skrillex song over the those shitty arse speakers.
Nothing kills a crowd vibe like playing 30 seconds of a really good song and then, for no reason, cutting to the next song. Aside from the music just being shitty and repetitive, the timing of the song queues have been horrible for several years.
I've also observed at some of the games where the crowed empties out massively after half, the music becomes normal again. And what do ya know, the remaining crowd (student section included) gets really into it. Who would've thought "Old Time Rock & Roll" would get the people going?

While I don't disagree with the pro-band crowd, I think you have to consider that at least one of the reasons for more piped in music is the fact that the students chant STTDB for just about every song the band plays now.

Well since you know it all still doesn’t mean I shouldn’t tell everyone else what he is and isn’t responsible for.. he’s responsible for maintenance of the system in tiger stadium not the way it sounds or what’s played.

Need to play music that represents Louisiana like Cajun and Zydeco. Also a Mardi Gras song or two would be nice. I am sick or the rap music. Half to a quarter or the words are beeped out for good reason. If you can't play the original version of the song unedited that is a clue that you should not play it at all.

If the traditionalist did give up their tickets then there wouldn’t be a damn soul in the stadium by the end of the 3rd qtr. because we sure as hell know y'all aren’t staying for shite. And I’m not even a traditionalists. The younger generation of fans are absolutely pathetic and is ruing the mystic of what made Death Valley so intimidating for all those years more and more as the years go on.
