GOATs Walker and Larson were 6', but for some reason CPM needs to protect the rim.

i’m 5’ 8” 160 and was a singles hitting middle infielder in High school.

It is bat speed, not size of the hitter. Look at Watson. Mike Fontenot was tiny and could rip it. Schimpf, etc.

Of all the position players only one is under 6’ and they all weigh 180 or more. It’s a difference in recruiting.

So has Mainieri changed recruiting philosophy and given up on the small athletic multi position player he sought for TD ameritrade? Is he going back to the 2009 type team?

Coach needs to recruit more big bodies that can hit home runs and not play small ball like Vanderbilt
I've always liked Corbin at Vandy. He wanted the LSU job badly back when Bertman hired Frodo. Hindsight is 20-20, but I'd much rather him have been hired.

He'd have killed it at LSU; very organized and demands team unity much more than Mainieri.

Sorry dudes, not a fan of either Mainieri or Fargas (Women's Basketball) on the LSU campus. Would like to see both depart for Greener Pastures.

Jury still out on Orgeron, but I like him personally. Have serious doubts if he can get it done as a HC at this level. Wanted my Herman HC-Aranda DC-Orgeron DL/RC thing to happen. Could've happened but Ole Joe just couldn't pull it off.

Killin' it in recruiting, Corbin hasn't collected any more hardware than CPM,....at a school where baseball is what they hang their hats on.

Corbin has been at Vandy longer than Maineri has been here. Had an advantage of signing kids because of academic scholarships and has 2 less CWS appearances , and the same number of NC and runner ups

Those are facts, your post is a bunch of bs about team unity
