That's partly why there are some people that I just don't like to have over to watch a game ... it's EVERYTHING BUT THE GAME! AND there are places that I don't want to go to watch the game either ... if I can't be there in person, I'd rather be home with hubby, 2 boys ... and poor 8 year old dtr doing her OWN thing for a few hours!

This is not TOTALLY TRUE.
Next weekend is Tulane. If a girl/wife dresses in a really hot and slutty costume, they will get plenty of attention this coming weekend. Bama weekend, they will just have to find something to occupy their time...

Yes, some girls, in fact, most of the ones I know, like football just as much as you guys. We know the players, the coaches, we love the tailgating and THE GAME.
We hate everything when we lose, and love everything when we win.
When the game's on, don't put me in a room with the rest of the "girls" talking about the kids, their hair, their clothes. Yuck!
Give me a great football ANY DAY!

FemaleTiger and tiger91, I am with you. My b/f and I plan a menu for the day, and I have it ready about 30 minutes before kickoff. He is a Michigan fan, so my day starts early. I love it though. We watch both games together and do not want to be disturb during play. We don't have to worry about kids either, so it's pretty cool.

The plan is to get dessert 10-15 touches.
Dessert can be a good change of pace.

uh, some of us are females and our husbands need to understand the rules. I, for one am fortunate to be married to a man who understands football in general (he thinks his gaytors are great) but has been trainined in the last 21 years of marriage that LSU football is something I take to a whole new level. So, for the men out there who are married to Lady Tigers, the message is the same!

Funny thing is I feel the same way ... and I'm the wife. Lucky for us the whole household feels the same ... except for the almost 9 year old daughter who always picks the BIG GAME day to walk into the living room and say "I think we should watch something that we ALL agree on and I don't want football". Needless to say, she loses! She's banished to another room with a movie or 2.

She just doesn't have as much testosterone running through her veins as you do at this age...there is still hope though.

My husband and I joke that the only time we get along is during football season.

All my friends, and family know not to call me, text me, or bother me when the game is on.

And to make things worse my son has a playoff game on the 7th at 4!
