Please memorize the lead song from the movie Frozen and sing it every time you get a craving to start a thread like this. Thanks.

Tennessee beat Alabama like a mule in the late 90's and early '00's. OP, were you outraged?

THE SCHEDULE ROTATES. How many times does this have to be said? It doesn't take into account records, scores, rankings or anything else you can find to cry about. Do you want to play vandy and UK every year?

Since we ARE playing UK this year, it's probably the worst time to have schedule complaints, but: Offseason. Going by last year's records in the OP, we got the easiest possible East schedule. Make up your minds, Tiger fans: Do you want to go to Athens more often, or do you want an easier schedule now and then? You can't have your cake and eat it too. And no, UGA will not be our permanent East opponent unless there's a major change somewhere.

If you are the schedule maker, which team would be a bigger threat to Bama's return to the NC game? LSU or Auburn? Auburn. They return more players, won the SEC and beat Bama in 2013. Auburn already has a tough permanent opponent (UGA), so have them play USC another tough East team. Before Auburn's resurgence, LSU was the biggest challenge in the West. We had USC and UGA in consecutive years. It only takes one lose to sway the conference standings. I really like what Spurrier said. Have only your divisional games count in SEC play. Any games from the opposite division should be counted as non-conference games.

too much whining.

Teams go up and down (look at Florida, Auburn and Vandy as recent examples) and everything evens out over time. True, we might get screwed one year and then get rewarded the next, just based on the pure luck of whether our opponents are up or down.

Stop the whining and just win the games.

and can we PLEASE stop with the Bama obsession.

How about we just beat them. All this bitching and moaning about Bama just looks like sour grapes.

Sadly, I think that is what this thread was really about. Had they had more tough games in the last x years, this thread wouldn't even be here.

It's a sickening, yet highly successfull combination of LSU love and Bama obsession that has oiled this machine that we have named, "The Rant".

Admins cringe at the Bama obsession, yet smile at the number of daily visits.
