Who wants to play fir McLoser?
He will have to pay a premium for players in a sport that donors and the administration don't care about. The best players will have no reason to come here for any reasonable amount of money.
Woodward is delaying the inevitable to save face. The two most money making sports are football and men's bb. Neither of his hires are doing the job expected, especially McMahon.

That’s a lot of spin and conflation but the fact remains he’s been wrong on multiple things and the sources contrary to him haven’t been proven wrong. Your take seems to be that since you like him he can’t be wrong. A very dangerous position when discerning facts and information.
I never said I like him, I never said he can’t be wrong. I’m just saying he’s more plugged into the university than most and based on the fact that LSU has given him information in the past, it’s worth considering. Your assumptions of what my stance is on the matter is pretty funny though. I’m sure Moscona is throwing this “inaccurate” information out there to cover for McMahon since he already prefaced his stance on him and has said numerous times he’s not lobbying for him or making excuses for him. As I said earlier, it all should be taken with a grain of salt, yet you refuse to take any information given to you other than your own personal opinion to be able to actually formulate a stance on something. You chose to use articles written by journalists disconnected to LSU to shoot down information given by someone connected to the university. This is because you’ve already taken your stance, and you refuse to accept or weigh any other information given to you by actual LSU sources. That, my friend, is wild.

I didn’t makeup the data I posted and I’ve used 3 separate sites to confirm. You and he haven’t confirmed any of the numbers you’ve suggested. Him being “plugged” in makes no difference.

The year zero crap sounds like nonsense too.
It actually IS nonsense, but I heard it repeated dozens of times the past few years by media outlets, folks here, etc.
It's been explained dozens of times just why it is nonsense so I won't repeat it here again but should anyone ever try it again I'm sure there are several folks who will gladly explain it again.

Anyone who says the source is plugged in is likely feeding the government or corporation or athletic administration propaganda. There is no evidence to trust that the complete truth of total expenditures on players that is public and nonpublic will ever be visible. Tales are spun to feed the narrative that is favorable to the teller.
The bottom line is McMahon is not cutting it. There is nothing convincing to say he shouldn't be fired immediately. He is being retained due to stubbornness, face saving, lack of funding to pay his buyout, and/or complete lack of urgency by LSU for men's basketball.

If he didn't get fired this year I guess the question should be will they fire him? It's pretty obvious at this point he sucks. Why keep him?
