Elon Musk replied at 3:01 AM: "Check your firmware. While you were writing that ransom note, Neural-Auto-Patch released a micro-update that routed your entire operation through a dead-end satellite in deep orbit. Thanks for testing our hotfix.

Is it? I'd like to know since no "Major news outlets" covered it.

Response from Elon Musk: Allegedly, Musk responded to the hackers, but this exchange has not been substantiated by any credible sources.

While I do love a good troll it is unlikely he would do that since it becomes a public challenge just begging to be met. It is unlikely he would be arrogant enough to play around with a $100+ billion dollar asset. This is part of the reason why you rarely hear about ransomware attacks unless they are bound to disclose a data breach.

You are a special kind of stupid.

I could still see it happening with Elon but...
Per GROK: • The story is a longstanding viral hoax with no supporting evidence, no actual Starlink outage, and no such Musk response or technology; it has been repeatedly debunked by fact-checkers since at least August 2026.

And joined this month.
Follow that account and see what it starts trying to sell in the next few months. There are a bunch of accounts like that set up to push some hustle or scheme/scam. They'll build a decent following and then pin a post to their feed pushing whatever they're trying to sell. Several of those scam accounts have made it here, posted as legit "news" sources.

That is hysterical.
Edit: Too bad it’s fake. Very entertaining anyway.

You distracted some of the usual suspects by posting something they just HAD to reply about.
Great work!
