It's painstakingly obvious that #7 should have been getting 25-30 carries since day 1. But we already knew that

I'm happy to see les FINALLY give the ball to a running back enough to find a rhythm... It was nice to see Fournette run the ball 27 times and adapt to the speed of the college game also...he will be a beast by the end of the season...congrats on the win Tigers...

nothing is different. We're still weak at DL and very limited at QB. The O line improved so our rushing was better. Jennings gave us better poise at the QB position than we had at Auburn, so we were able to move the ball some through the air. The whole team played hard for 60 minutes and never quit. Florida is obviously not a great team this year (neither are we), but I'm always happy with a win in the swamp. The team showed progress. Let's hope it continues vs. UK.

Good gutsy win...first brick to this restock/rebuild has been laid. Still gotta keep getting better, specifically on offense at the skill positions.

Florida may be down, but Id much rather be on the winning end (and with a young team and hope for the future) than the losing end. Hopefully as our QBs begin to become more experienced we can continue to develop and sprinkle in more of a passing attack. Running game and offensive line looked as good as it has all year.

Pride and style points out the window (which if you haven't already you need to ditch that), I'm very proud that they competed hard and came away with a win. Hopefully the W breeds some additional confidence within the locker room for this youthful team.

Curious how many times receivers managed to get behind our defensive backs. Seems too often and at crucial times.

OL played drastically better. LF is the truth. DE position was better. DT I think only CL and DG played though I might be wrong. LB play was better. Secondary played ok. Special teams sucked and Jennings is worse than JJ at this point in his career. Hopefully the improved players lift everyone else.

First quarter vs SEC competition sucks. Like the way the team came back but felt UF could have put this one away. Fortunate to come out with a W, but hope it was a maturing experience.

Defense sold out on the run and gave up a few headscratching big plays, but for one of the first times this season our offense helped our defense...we were FINALLY able to get a few third down conversions, keep the ball, and control the clock....which is the ONLY way that we have a chance at winning games with this duo of inexperienced QBs that just don't have "it" yet.

It is up to the offensive line and the RBs to get us through this expected period of QB development. They did that yesterday and carried us to a win.

One of the QBs will eventually gain the trust of the coaches and our offense will start to open it up a tad more when that happens, but until that time comes it is crucial that our ground game have success.

As for the D, I saw improvement as well. Finally, we contained a running QB. Driskel sucks, but it's still a step in the right direction.

This was a game we just needed to win. Obviously there are still a lot of kinks to work out but it is extremely encouraging to see the OL and DL play better, and to see LSU establish a running game against a respectable defense. Just win next week and set up a really interesting matchup at home with Ole Miss.

Posted by BOSCEAUX. Why the frick is Welter on special teams?

Did you even *see* Beckwith totally whiff on that monster return ?? Since he started the year there, looks like they kept him in for continuity, but he could be getting gassed now that he is starting.

Would much rather have KB starting @ Mike and Welter on ST rather than vice versa

Happy for the win; liked the way this team came back & kept fighting. LF7 looks like he's on the verge of becoming the player we all thought he would be. I-line played better as did the D-line. The secondary is still a big area of concern & looks like we forgot how to cover kicks. The QB is still a nightmare; as is the play calling-one causes the other.
Overall I was most impressed with the way this game was won; came from behind, kept fighting till the end. This win should go a long way in helping the youngsters.

With Driskel's noodle arm tossing ducks, maybe that was part if the strategy to bait INT chances...?

I am happy with the win. I did see improvement in the offensive line. I was not impressed with Jennings, but he deserved a shot and came away with a win. The coaches need to go into overdrive and get Harris in there.

Im truly just happy with the win. Winning is so much better than losing. Look , I can be as negative as some of the best negatigers and Im not going to come up in here and sugarcoat anything but Im likewise not going to say phooey on a win in the SEC on the road and in the swamp which has been norotiously tough on our Tigers even before Spurrier got over there.
