Dude, P5 coaches get paid incentives based on recruiting rankings. Go check out the LSU website and how it describes the recruits in terms of the stars his has. Hell yes he pays attention.

I think Dupre is overrated. Judged and played the interception poorly, should have slowed down and tried to gain inside position and definitely should have made a better play on the ball. Not all balls are gonna be put in the numbers, great receivers win the ball. Not putting all the blame on him because etling did under throw it but great receivers make plays and he didn't. I agree about giving other receivers a chance. He's dropped 4 balls this year, in past years some were benched for a lot less, plus it would create a much more competitive atmosphere and set a benchmark for expectations.
