link?
eta...bama hasn't even won 2 bcs BOWL games. in fact they haven't even won 1.
i would rank bama somewhere around 6th in the sec over the last 10 years behind:
LSU
Florida
Georgia
Auburn
Tennessee

You know i have been on this board for quite a while without saying a word, just reading. I have never seen so many fans of one team come out of the woodworks like the gumps this week. Just keep in mind all gumps " You have to be back more than nine games into a season before you can start calling yourself champions (what a joke)". So thanks for the history lesson gumps, because yall have not even been talked about for a very long time. Why dont yall just shut the frick up until Yall raise that crystal ball( just once will do). frick respect because that is the only thing that matters.
P.S. Being number one on november 6 does not mean shite just like what bama did 100 yrs ago dont mean shite either. You should be concentrating on breaking our winning streak against us. Bama has had entire recruiting classes go without beating LSU over the past 6 yrs. Ouch, that would depress me too gumps.

Paul Bryant was a great coach.
He was a very good Xs and Os coach, and generally picked good assistant coaches. Where Bryant was the "best ever" was recruiting. Every major recruiting rule in place today can be traced back to a "Bear" Bryant, *cough* innovation *cough* in recruiting. Paying players, boosters with "jobs" for players, boosters with car dealerships "leasing" cars to players, signing 120 kids because "I'd rather have him running my scout team than starting at Auburn", etc. A truly innovative genius in the area of "creative" recruiting.

A long history lesson here folks:

Has Bama won a national championship that they haven't shared ever? No. shite, y'all had to share the 1925 championship with Dartmouth, and the 1926 championship with Lafayette. You want to point out the entire history, and there it is right there for you. Maybe after you get your arse whuppin on Saturday you can call up some Army football fans and talk about the good ole days when you used to battle for supremacy in the '40's.
By the way, name one 2 loss team that was better than us last year. You can't because there wasn't one with a tougher schedule who beat Ohio State and raised the crystal.

Its funny how fans like you just love to conveniently decide what the starting point of history is. "Oh, hey lets start counting at the point where Alabama no longer owns our asses".
It's funny how we have barely heard a peep out of you sister-banging, Bear-sucking, booger-eating, knuckle-dragging peckerwoods until this year. Go back to your outhouse and pick your nose. Enjoy #1 while it lasts because you'll smell like #2 real soon.

If LSU wouldn't have started shooting themselves in the foot last year with penalties, LSU would have blown Bama out in their own stadium.

NGA, the thing you want to look for on that YouTube link of the 1999 game is the Bama player with the season-ending injury on the ground before time ran out. The clock should have been stopped to tend to him.

I guess being #1 in all polls is a definite sign of no respect...haha...you corndogs need to get your heads out of Miles' arse and accept that the golden era of LSU football was short and is over
Help me out guys but I don't recall us running around saying that we were the most awesome team in the nation when we were #1, we just played football. Bama fans talk about how we are classless but we were not running around last year popping our gums, on boards and the like, like they are this year. I'm ready to get this monkey off my back.

Take any time period you want since Paul Bryant last coached at Alabama in 1982, and LSU is the better program.

What a fuggin joke.
question, were you even alive to enjoy those years Bama dominated LSU?
Yes you have a storied program..When Bama is good, the SEC is that much stronger
But seriously, you guys have no humility, and need to learn how to have some class. I am sure Saban will teach that to your fan base, he hates that junk. You have not won a thing (recent) yet and you guys are already unbearable to be around...
BAMA and UGA fans should hook up together and start your own league..Nobody is as good as you, never will be never was..It's down to to these 2 programs to decide the real champion of now and all time..

Here is a history lesson of LSU's record versus Bama.....
1980-1989 4-5-1
1990-1999 3-7
2000-2007 7-1
So this dominant LSU history against Bama I guess started when our present coach took over there?

Looks to me as though a pretty even series for 20 years has finally tilted in the favor of the stronger program over the last 8.
That's what's up.

You are only old enough to remmber at best two Bama National Championships, one shared with USC. Sooo stop talking history. Does that 1926 Title make yer eyez well up or are you going to far back into history to make your point? How about this, since you were born LSU has been better or equal to Bama. That's a fact.

Actally, my therapist says it's now OK to start talking about that period of Tiger football again.

Bama has been lost in the desert since Bryant. Except for the Stallings era, we've only had a couple of good years since. BUT, Saban is building a new dynasty for us. It begins again.
