Its funny how fans like you just love to conveniently decide what the starting point of history is. "Oh, hey lets start counting at the point where Alabama no longer owns our asses".

What a fuggin joke.

Actually, the fricking joke is your arrival on this board just days before your favorite team, ranked #1 in the country, visits our favorite team. Guess you just "conveniently" decided when the starting point of your post history here was going to be, eh?

And yet you STILL have so far to go before you even scratch the surface of what we've accomplished.

My point is that you, Alabama, have a long ways to go to catch up to the present-day LSU.

Your dominance occurred in a much different time than this.

Sure, Alabama is a better program over the history of college football. But somehow, over the last 25 years, you have let that program from Louisiana first become your equal, then surpass you in every measurable way by contemporary standards.

It must be hard to try to reach back that far to recreate history that will never become the present.

Tell you what...Call us when you stop using just one hand to count your NC's...Hell for that matter, call us when you cant count all your NC's on both hands.

In short...CALL US WHEN YOU GET 12...Soon to be 13.

I thought I gave you several options.

And yes, the point of the thread is that Alabama does not any longer own our hiney-bones.

But that the current state of the competition between the two schools is decidely slanted in our favor.

How did ya'll ever let this happen?

No, we're recreating history RIGHT NOW. Are you aware of when the last time was that Bama was ranked #1 in the regular season?

Why? 'Cause you WOULDN'T look like a fair-weather, johnny-come-lately a-hole? Where were you last year when the two teams met?

Actually...I was here last year too. Be honest. Is this not what SEC football is all about? Would it be what it is if we (fans of all SEC schools) all just kept to ourselves come game time? Would winning be as enjoyable if there were no losers to talk smack to? Hell no!!

It doesn't matter how many championships you have in the past, LSU is the dominant team in the SEC this decade. And even if you beat a severely overrated LSU team this year, you're gonna get raped at the hands of Florida. And next year you're gonna be in the same boat as us with the quarterback situation.

I am aware of the last couple of times that Alabama was undefeated when the faced LSU...

1993 and 2005, right?

How's that slice of history.

And NGA, don't get ahead of yourself. Enjoy the moment. You're #1 on November 6th. Great job. Savor it. Don't waste the celebration that your season should be by placing unnecessary burdens on your team such as winning championships.

I'd just hate for ya'll to have to deal with unrealized expectations again.

Here's some more history for you . . .

. . . What do Howard Schellenberger, Mike DuBose, Charlie Pell, Danny Ford, Jackie Sherrill, and Pat Dye all have in common?

Ans: they were all either flakes or crooks and they were all disciples of Bear Bryant. Draw your own conclusions.

First off...I didnt ask about undefeated teams. I asked about being ranked #1 in the reg season. Not to mention the 05 game was the biggest rape job of all times at the hands of the refs.

LINK

Say what you will about it, but that was bullshite and you know it.

As far as expectations goes...We've already far exceeded our highest expectations for this season. Even the most optimistic Bama fans would've predicted us to go 8-4. Remember, Bamas playing with fifteen true freshmen.

That video was of the 2004 game, which LSU won 26-10. Yep, that one call was all the difference.

seriously..do you really give a shite what happened almost 30 years ago? i mean bama's glory days were in the 70's. you sure talk a lot of trash considering your team is facing a team that has beaten them 5 times in a row and 7 of 8. you might want to consider laying low until the game is over.

You're the one who said to call when we win 2 bcs championships. We've done it.
