I'm expecting 9-3. So, any fewer regular season wins and I am disappointed and any more and I am thrilled

no.

We should win 10 every year with this talent and these coaches. Period. End of story.

We play like 4 top 10 teams and 6 top 25. That is just brutal

omg , i am old!

i wore my colors proudly thru the 50's, 60's, 70's. 80's and 90's. i would hurt after every loss for the players and the coaches and the fans.

but, there was never a bad year for me and lsu football.

every year i'm alive as a tigah is a GREAT YEAR!

So do we win the SEC Championship game and the MNC after that?

It won't hurt us to lose to Ole Miss in the middle of the season because we'll still have Bama and TAMU who should be undefeated and one loss.

We beat Bama at #1 and then TAMU inside the top 10 we go to the SECSCG at 11-1. Play IMO UGA or USCe in that game(both should be inside the top 15 with two losses apiece), then go to the BCSCG.

Don't care if Oregon, Texas and Ohio State are undefeated, LSU squashing 4 top 10 teams(Bama, TAMU, UGA, UF) and 2 top 15(TCU, UGA/SC), also a ranked Kent State, is all the credentials we need to get in.

all the homers on this board won't admit it, but 9-3 would be a good year. You can't look at our season in a vacuum - you have to take in all the factors: we play a brutal schedule, we lost a lot of starters, and we have a new OC so there's uncertainty there (but hopefully will be an upgrade).

2011 would like to say hello.

Given all of that, 9-3 would be a good year.

10-2 would be a good solid year. 11-1 would be a very good year.12-0 be a truly outstanding year. In my opinion 9-3 just doesn't cut it, although the schedule is tough. Personally think they go somewhere between 12-0 and 10-2. Think we will surprise some people expecting, or hoping for a down year.

is 9-3 a good season for LSU? no, but given all the uncertainties such as a completely rebuilt defense and whether or not mett takes it up another notch. 9-3 would be an acceptable record but not a good year by any means. if the offense progresses with cam as oc and the defense doesn't see a dramatic drop off, I can see a 10-2 record which would be fantastic given the schedule and all the newcomers on defense. I can see a minimum 11 and 12 regular season wins each year over the the 3 years with the talent that is coming in. This year should be good but the following years could be epic if everything falls into place.

We do this all the time and went undefeated with JJ/Lee.. we can do it again with a Senior QB and all this talent year in and year out. Always expect at least 10 wins at LSU.

Yes, LSU is absolutely loaded for the next 2-3 years.

Les Miles and the rest of the staff are getting paid to be alot more than 9-3 which would probably be #3 in the west. Just the way it is. LSU is paying top dollar for a top product. BCS bowls should be the norm not chick-fil-a bowls.

9-3 will be a disappointment. Hell, 10-2 will be somewhat disappointing but most folks will not go nuts over it. I guess the judgement of a 10-2 year would definitely hinge on the outcome of the bowl game.
