11 wins at least or bust!

LSU is more than capable of beating Bama and UGA this season. Not worried about a&m or florida at home.

I would be ok with a 9-3 year. As long as we dont lose to a team we shouldnt lose to. Im ok with losses against UF, UGA, Bama, and TAMU. Those 4 teams are on par with us talent wise. TAMU might not be there with us as a team, but if Manziel plays that gives them a boost.

We are capable of beating those teams. But those teams are also capable of beating us.

9-3 is where the bar is set. It would be a solid "transitional" year with this schedule for sure.

meet's (low side) expectations

high-end expectations, 10-2. the schedule is just too tough for anything much better than 10-2. really, hope that i'm wrong.

9-3 would be a good year if it leads LSU to a national crown in 2014.

By then, Cameron's offense should be fully installed, and your young QB should be ready to shine.

9-10 wins per season is the norm.

I like how people list off all the tough games we have this year as if we are incapable of winning big games. Its LSU, we always win a couple big games a year no matter how atrocious our offense might be.

Our offense is potentially looking good this year so everyone should have high expectations rather than predicting us to lose every "tough" game.

9-3 is the break-even point for this program IMO...anything better, good/great year...anything worse, bad year

9-3 is neither good nor bad...it's a "meh" year.

10+ wins should be the goal every regular season.

Considering the number of players that left early, the overall strength of the SEC, two road games vs. Top 5 opponents, two home games against Top 10 opponents, a neutral site game against at Top 25 opponent and a new offensive system, 9-3 would not be bad.

But by LSU standards, 9-3 sure as hell isn't a "good year".

No. 10 wins with a bowl win is good, but is still below expectations.

SEC or National Championship needs to be in the discussion up until the last week of our regular season schedule.

all the homers on this board won't admit it, but 9-3 would be a good year. You can't look at our season in a vacuum - you have to take in all the factors: we play a brutal schedule, we lost a lot of starters, and we have a new OC so there's uncertainty there (but hopefully will be an upgrade).

Given all of that, 9-3 would be a good year.
