I was not as impressed with Dessert as I was Ruzic
Dessert is the big body down low that can muscle opponents. Ruzic is the athletic change of pace. He can hustle the opponent big down the court, and wear them down. Glad to have both.

That will be good to have for sure. Anyone who has followed my hoops posts the last 4 years knows my biggest issue bar none with MM was our lack of toughness and physicality. This guy can bring that.
Seems he has some work to do a bit as far as footwork and skill things.

I think there will be matchups where Dessert is needed to body up opponents and there will be other matchups where Ruzic's quickness will absolutely cause fits for opponents. They are both really solid options and we are blessed to have both.
Can we step back for a second and discuss how good Niang is going to be as well? Sure he's only 6'8" but his length and quickness were absolutely insane. Having 6 first half steals is just silly. LSU will steal possessions away from their opponents pressing like they did last night. And with Niang on the inbounder, that is a lot of pressure to get the ball in.
