It just seems like you honestly believe arden key will be a first round draft pick no matter what he does this season

I didn't say that. I said what's happening in the games will have almost no affect, and it won't.

I do believe he's planning on sleepwalking through the season and impressing during workouts.

Again, this has been proven to not affect a guys stock much, if at all.

He’s definitely not getting the sacks but to me he’s played better against the run this year over last season

Clowney also was the most gifted pass rusher of the last 10-15 years, maybe longer

Yeah and he half-assed it for a season and went first overall. I'm not, and nor have I ever, said that Key was going first, but he was projected top 3. If he shows up at the combine and is anything close to what he was in 2016 he will go mid-1st, just like I said earlier. That's regardless of what his production is this season.

just wanted to laugh at this unbelievable bs again acting as if key would be #1 ....let alone first round.

Bookmarked, is you think Key won’t go first round then I don’t know what to tell you aside that you have no clue what you’re talking about

I've already addressed this ITT. Clowney has something like 25 total tackles and 3 sacks his final season and was notorious for taking plays off.

The NFL doesn't give a shite about character or heart when they think they can pay you to give them double digit sacks.

Clowney wasn't out of shape either.

The combine is 6 months away. He won't be anything close to what he is now.

Maybe. Like I said, that's too be determined

Do you honestly think he's not going to show up to the biggest day of his career in the best shape he can possibly be in?

I didn't expect him to leave school and come into camp 30 pounds overweight. I have no idea where is head is right now nor do I know he'll get over it

You're a better poster than this. Get your head out of your arse man.

It's a legitimate concern. I think something is wrong with him. I don't know if it's his desire to play at all or what but I don't see the same player at all anymore.

Then we are having a different discussion. I'm saying Key is a first round talent if he wants to be. That cannot be denied at this point.

If he decides he doesn't really care about football then that's another matter entirely.

“If he wants to be”

If both players step up, we can still win some games and avoid total embarassment.

Key is in for a rude awakening come draft day, if nothing changes. Guice is probably also.

Might be zero first rounders for LSU.

If Key's play does not improve, he will not be drafted in the first round.
