The highest we were all season, after week 4, in yards per completion was 90th. Jd was check down charlie all year and defenses clearly figured him out late in the season.

I've seen 2 different all 22 films of lsu. Both times we had wrs running wide open deep dozens of times and just never got the ball. Stop with this bullshite narrative that playcalling made Daniels hold the ball and not trust his eyes. For sucks sake the coach's said they had to put boutte in the slot so JD could find him.
The biggest problem I have with JD is that it seems like he regressed late In the season. The last 3 or 4 games he only made anticipatory throw on comebacks or hitches. I really though he turned a corner during florida and Bama but he went right back to holding the ball and refusing to attack 1on 1 covergae. We all saw ,on TV , Brian Kelly screaming at him...
" it's 1 on 1 THROW THE frickING BALL".
