Just goes to show you how incredibly random this tournament has been this year. It truly is anyone's trophy to win and it'll be hard to be surprised if anyone is dogpiling at the end (Murray St. is the only one that would be a shocking title winner). We've all been guilty at some point at thinking LSU is not built for a deep run. For me, it was when Marcus Phillips shut us down to even the series back in April. But, fact of the matter is that every team remaining in the field has a flaw that will make its fanbase antsy. These past two weekends have been a bloodbath and I expect Omaha to be no different.

Louisville - 1 game facing elimination (super regional vs Miami)
Oregon St. - 5 games facing elimination (4 in regional, 1 in super vs FSU)
Arizona - 2 games facing elimination (super regional vs UNC)
LSU - 1 game facing elimination (regional)
Duke* - 1 game facing elimination (super regional vs Murray St.)
or
Murray St.* - 3 games facing elimination (1 in regional, 2 in super vs Duke)

Arkansas, Coastal Carolina and UCLA are all undefeated in the postseason.

Not 1 team from last year made it back.

This is pretty surprising, but also fits in with the theme of how unpredictable this postseason has been.

First time LSU has made it to Omaha after losing a game in the Regional since the current format started in 1999.

Very proud of the team and coaches. Hopefully the fans weren’t too inconvenienced by the delay. I know that’s hard on people to have to wait to watch a baseball game.

And we didn't even use Evans. Offense wins, saves the arms.

I felt like this team was capable of making it to Omaha, but was worried about their consistency at the plate.

Looks like they might have returned to form with better plate discipline and are getting timely hits.

Really proud of this team to get to Omaha.
