It is mathematically impossible to be "right" about that. That's the joke.
It was meant as a parody of the impossible standards that freshmen are held to.

Thank you for giving me a reasonable answer, I can respect that. I know its impossible, I meant they want to be right about Jennings being good. I didn't know it was a parody I thought it was some stupid joke to get people hyped up on Jennings.

Basically both Jennings and Harris are question marks to an extent. We've seen more out of Jennings and so far I haven't been impressed with his poor mechanics and poor arm strength. Could he improve? Yes, but everything we've heard about Harris so far is that he has sound mechanics and arm strength and good running ability. It seems to me like Harris has the potential to be the duel threat qb we've all been waiting for. If Jennings develops into that guy and proves me wrong Id be more than happy but as of now I just don't see it.

Maybe when Bobby Jindal runs for prez he will choose Mo Isom to be his VP candidate. I can get on board with that.

And you're hyping a player who hasn't even taken a snap in Harris. Anyways, anyone hyping Harris/Jennings up at this point is ignorant and doesn't understand development in college football. They're both going to have growing pains. A lot.

Anyone else think the whole 5 Heisman Jennings thing was absolutely ridiculous? I mean the statement "5 Heismans" is ridiculous enough by itself (even if its a joke), but to say that about a player who hadn't even taken a snap yet is absurd. And to make matters worse those same people who were calling him 5 Heismans last year are still on the Jennings bandwagon even after his poor performances. Its like their sticking by him no matter what because they don't want to be wrong and look stupid. I cant wait until Brandon Harris lights it up this year and makes the 5 Heismans crowd look even more foolish.

You sure do.

My main point is that im tired of the Jennings bandwagon defending him no matter what just to be right about "6 Heismans"

defending him no matter what? He played a game and a quarter. He's had one good spring game, and one bad one. My God, he's still basically a greenhorn. I would agree with you if you said this about a guy whose played at least half a season and going into his third year on campus, but you literally have no idea if he will be good or bad.

I will continue to bring this up until people stop being stupid about Jennings. Johnny Manziel had nearly as bad a Spring Game as Jennings had, as a redshirt freshman, where Jameill Showers looked good. He was then arrested that June and in the Fall won the starting job. He then went on to beat Bama, win the heisman, and take his team to the Sugar Bowl, crushing Oklahoma.

You have already lost faith in a kid who hasn't even started to fail. I really care not for who wins, and I'm sure both will get play time in the early season if things aren't settled in the Fall. The guy has talent, maybe not all world Harris talent, but I still believe he can take us where we want to go.
