Failing to score a TD from the 8 yard line on 3 straight runs feels like a failure.

the fact that you think these are remotely similar sums up your lack of logic rather well
So both units having an opportunity to win the game and failing to do so isn't similar?
You've gone full retard now.

Idk...
Feels similar
If LSU doesn't score in the 4th OT after A$M scored, the game is over
Are you saying it was the defenses goal to continue the game in regulation
Hint: Offenses and defenses have different goals.

Hint the offenses goal Is to outscore the other team.
Was the defense supposed to score in OT?
Because the offense missed chances to win the game.

But, why shouldn't the offense ever be expected to win the game? Is it only up to the defense to win? That's pretty much what you've been saying.

You're insignificant
Do you think your opinion matters more than mine or anyone else's.
You're just another fricking idiot on a message board. You, me and damn near everyone else here are insignificant when it comes to the football program.

and aren't holding the coaches to anything.
Neither are you. And there's plenty more of you guys that are fine and dandy with 9 win seasons, offenses ranked in the lower third of college ball, blaming the players for mistakes, but not the coaches.
I wouldn't have a problem with you guys having that kind of attitude with this coaching staff, if that would have been the case with the previous coaching staff.
Expectations have changed there Sally, and that's where I have a problem with the way some of this fanbase views some things with the program.
But next week, win or lose, you can get on the rant and go on and on about how satisfied you are with the coaches and team. 9 and 10 win seasons, top 5 or 10 recruiting classes, you guys will all claim that we're heading in the right direction.
Never mind that we did that exact same thing when Miles was here. And back then, those years were considered failures.
Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Because that's exactly what you're saying.

Only when you're trying (failing) to spin a narrative that the defense alone lost the aTm game.

It's exactly what he's saying. We're the idiots though.

Wut?
there were multiple chances to win in OT for both teams
However it should have ended on 4th and 17 in regulation
Do you disagree?

You're wrong.
I have been critical. You are nothing but critical

No. It should have ended with a 1st down with 1:36 left on the clock.

LSU was ahead until the clock hit 0:00

LSU would have stayed ahead when the clock hit 0:00 had they ended it when they should have, with 1:36 left on the clock.

They scored more than we did, and won the game.
Why are they in this conversation?

Both of these can be correct which is why it's ludicrous to blame one side or another. Both sides had multiple oppurtunities late in regulation and overtime to win that game.

You're asking a guy who's claimed that the offense and defense both failing to win the game when they had the chance isn't similar. Only the defense failed in the instances because the offense managed not to turn the ball over in OT.
Let that sink in for a moment.
