The players — including Jefferson and Johns — then turned on Lowrey, kicking and punching him several times before getting into a silver vehicle and leaving, the report says.
The witness told police the fight began because the man in the pickup truck yelled for someone to move a vehicle that was blocking his, the report says.
After being attacked and before leaving, the man threatened the crowd with a gun he said he had in his truck, according to the report. The witness never saw a gun.
Police received a call about the incident just after 1:30 a.m., the report says. When they arrived at Shady’s no one involved in the fight was present.
A witness told the officer that people involved might have gone to Reggie’s Bar at 1176 Bob Petit Drive, the report says.
The officer went to Reggie’s but did not find anyone involved in the altercation, the report says. When the officer returned to Shady’s, Lowrey was present and gave the officer his account of what occurred.
The officer stated in the report that Lowrey’s face was swollen, that he had several bruises, and that he had blood on his shirt, the report says.

No, I'm not saying should or could. It's not my policy, but my impression was that for Miles, a player breaking curfew and getting into a bar fight (and then perhaps lying about his involvement) would be grounds for some type of discipline.
It is a waste of time to argue with some here.

Dude you're not talking to a bunch of second graders here. We all know what vertebrae and spinal cords are. Injuries to them are serious. You're not a doctor nor did you treat the victim. So you have no clue about the extent of his injuries.
Furthermore you've obviously never had cracked ribs. "Some stiffness and some soreness" lolz. Cracked ribs hurt like hell every time you move, laugh, cough, etc. etc. etc..

It's compelling...
It is, but there is the video of the fight (as shitty as it might be) where Lowery's name is clearly stated as being involved contempraneously with the filming.

I think the 3rd party witnesses (several) only corroborated that an unknown white male was beaten by a crowd of people and some of the crowd were football players.
Long appears to be a friend of Lowery's that was with him and gave her statement as well. They are the ones who specifically identified JJ and Johns.

Agreed. I don't get this hatred for the kid. He's never been in trouble (either academically or criminally) since he set foot on LSU's campus. Yet some goofs like this dude saying "could be a blessing in disguise" are ready to have the kid's head on a stick.

Whatever makes you feel better, but thats not what I was referring too.
It has nothing to do with speaking badly about JJ. Say what you want about whoever, but to reference this situation about being a blessing in disguise for LSU is simply disgusting.
