15. Derrius Guice

20. Donte Jackson

33. Arden Key

Highest I've seen Donte yet.

Donte and Key are going to make or break their position at the combine.

The #1 player is Barkley which I don't disagree with per se but the write up on him seems a little shortsighted.

He claims he's the best RB prospect that we have seen in a decade.....

LF7 was in the draft last year....

I'm not saying LF7 is definitively better than Barkley but I am saying that he was every bit as good if an NFL prospect as Barkley.

Donte got another first round projection on another board.

I know he's gonna have a good combine because he's good at drills and will run well.

He could sneak into the later first but I think he's more of a third round guy based on his play here.

Well the guy gets the general sentiment of all LSU fans: "Key has Pro Bowl talent, but his up-and-down play is concerning."

Kevin Toliver II is a better CB than Donte. If KTII is drafted after the 3rd round then some team is getting a steal.

I think the KT has more upside than Donte but based on actual in game performance, I don't know how you can say that KT is better than DJ.

Look at how many teams threw at Donte last season and that's why Aranda had to make the move he did. I think both are good CBs and Donte is faster but he does not tackle well. I think KT is going to be a good NFL CB and Donte won't make it long.

Tough to say.

I believe he will show up to the combine in great shape and show out. I think his interviews will determine if he will be or not. As someone mentioned in another thread, these teams will already know the backstory of last offseason amd everything else. Based on how he handles those questions will set a spot. If teams see Randy Gregory 2.0, I think he will plummet.

What are you talking about?

He moved DJ to nickel because Vincent was struggling with his run fits. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with DJ's play.

And as far as Jackson being targeted, there is absolutely no evidence to support that clsim. I realize he gave up the big play to lose the bowl game but teams AVOIDED Donte, they didn't target him at all.

If you watched DJ's play in the first 5 games and liked what you saw then I don't know what to tell ya. Didn't we go to nickel because CT was nicked up and this is why Vincent got the start. when CT returned is when KT took DJ's spot and the defense started to shine.

what? he is literally one of the best open field tackling CBs we have ever had. DJ played very well for us the entire time he was here. he will be missed next year

If tackling wasn't a part of football, then I may just barely agree. Unfortunately it is though and KT2 is soft.

people that get the all 22 film disagree with you. you don't get voted to an all American team by sucking in 5 games

Wrong. Lady Vincent got the start at nickel cuz KT got suspended. When he was over the suspension, they didn't gift him his spot back.

It wasn't until KV started missing his run fits did they switch DJ to nickel.

I can remember one completion given up against chatt and one completion given up against BYU. Other than that, you're gonna have to show me what he did so poorly the first 5 games.

So far everything you have said has been wrong so I'm assuming you saw how DJ played as a sophomore, paid no attention to the fact that he was greatly improved as a junior, and just twisted reality to fit your preconceived notion that DJ was a liability.

Keep in mind this is coming from a guy that bashed DJ as a sophomore. The difference is, I watched the games and can give props when players improve.

Also, the only CB specifically targeted in the Bama game was KT. They absolutely abused that kid.

I'm not even convinced KT is a better cover corner. KT got eaten up more times than DJ ever did. KT was picked on for entire games while that never happened to DJ. people like the like Evans KT is the KT we always got.

DJ had 6 less solo tackles this year than DWhite.
last year he had 1 less solo tackles than Beckwith
