The No. 22 Arkansas women’s basketball team (17-3, 4-1 in SEC) is riding into Thursday night’s game at No. 3/4 LSU (18-0) on a four-game winning streak and looking for a different outcome than the last time these two teams met three weeks ago. Arkansas, who is 5-0 in road games this year, is off to its best 20-game start since 2007-08 and best start in league play since 2005-06. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center with coverage of the game being broadcast on SEC Network.

The Razorbacks have won their last four games by an average margin of 18.5 points per game. Two of those games were on the road, as Arkansas is 5-0 in true road contests

Arkansas is one of the few teams in the country to have all five starters average double digits in scoring. Erynn Barnum paces the Razorbacks with 15.8 points per game, while leading the SEC in field goal percentage at .619. She also leads the team in blocks with 23 and steals with 27.

In the SEC, Arkansas leads in 3-point attempts per game (26.6) and is No. 2 in 3-pointers per game (8.4).

LSU is leading the country in scoring offense (88.7 PPG) and is second in rebounds per game (50.89).

Angel Reese is having herself a year, averaging 23.9 points and 15.4 rebounds per game, while earning a double-double in all 18 games this season.

Alexis Morris is having another great season, averaging 12.8 points per game, and leading the way with 89 assists.

Jasmine Carson also averages double digits with 10.8 points per game while shooting 37% from 3.

Kim Mulkey is in her second season at LSU, and has led the Tigers to a 44-6 mark across two seasons, including an unblemished 18-0 mark thus far.

LSU is off to the program's best start at 18-0 and is riding the longest win streak in the program's history. The streak includes the 30-point home win over Auburn Sunday. But as Mulkey and her players have said, far more questions need to be answered.

"We haven't done anything, really," Mulkey said. "We've won 18 games. That's impressive, I get it. We've beaten those we're supposed to beat and we've beat them handily. But this is my only second year here. We've got a long way to go."

Very nice of Arkansas to get ranked again so we can have another ranked win.

Was thinking the same thing

I'm legit a little nervous about this game after seeing they've won their last 4 by 18 points a game, though it was mostly against the bottom feeders of the SEC.

Don't worry, we've won each of our last 4 by at least 19 points and by an average of over 27 points

Lock up the two guards for Arky and pound the ball inside. Reese will feast.

I was worried she got seriously hurt during the Auburn game. She went straight to the locker room, but ended up coming back into the game shortly later.

If they drop a game, it’s going to be one on the road or to SC (which is also on the road). Not seeing them drop this one at home.

The game may be tighter than last time but if LSU plays half way decent later they will be more than fine. They beat Arkansas by 24 points and that’s with a bad shooting night themselves also.

The Tennessee game will not be easy either. They are 6-0 in the SEC and have won 7 straight & 10 of their last 11 games.

They are 14-6 overall but have one of the toughest schedules in America this year. Thankfully we get them at home.

LSU WBB doesn't look as good as their ranking tonight. Not to my eyes.

Arky is better tonight for sure.

They are 5-0 on the road and I'm thinking they'll be 6-0 on the road after tonight.

This lofty Ranking for LSU is going to take a bit of a dive.

Props to this team for playing 5 on 8 tonight. I feel like a saints fan bitching about refs but the officiating tonight has been pure slop.
