So first things first - Elena won’t ever score higher than dunne - at best they are equal, but livvy gets a bit of a bump from her fame.

The issue is thst we can’t figure out bars or vault landings away.

I’m not a gymnastics analyst but I’d think we would be happy with a 197.6 on the road

Elena has been hurt (her back I think?). Olivia was hurt pretty much for the whole season last year, that’s why we didn’t see her last year and more this year.

I’m sure you’re right! If we can’t consistently stick more landings, who we put on floor is kind of a non issue.

I atually don't mind starting with KJ on vault. Yes, sometimes it's not properly rewarded, but it's always a 9.85, 9.875 and has already gone higher multiple times. It's always a good start. Why put another 1.5 if we can't ever stick those? Also, the risk for a fall in a 1.5 is much greater. And Cammy's specifically has a lot of built-ins unfortunately.

Sav and Amari need to find their landings ASAP. Once they figure out Chase, I'd swap her with Aleah, because she's not sticking and judges are harsher on the Omelianchik overall. With that, we'd have 3 solid 1.5s, a realiable full with no built-in deductions, a bet on Kiya's double and a strong finish with Bryant which apparently will score well regardless of anything.

Also, have you seen Kat Levasseur and Jordan Bowers's 1.5s last night? Both stuck their landings, no hesitation. I'm just not seeing us there yet.

As for floor, I feel the same way others have said. There's no way we don't have a better option than Olivia. There were like 5 better floor routines at Gym101. I think their trying to make her gymnastics happen a little too hard this season.

I saw that Konnor was training her double yurchenko. I wonder if we will see it this season!

I was thinking take Aleah out and try Cammy. Also if chase is just going to do a full put Bryce in there because her full is lovely.

I think jay said maybe at the end of the season but with her already having ankle soreness I seriously doubt we see Konnor in vault this year.

we have an ability to get 197.7+ if Aleah is able to hit her series. This is the third week in a row. It may be time to consider a change for her (removing the last layout).

I actually think that removing the last layout in Aleah‘s beam routine would actually do more harm than good for her mentally because it changes the entire pace of her beam routine, when she does each skill and how she does each skill. The pace of her routine is based on her series being the first element and her routine, and how quickly she does her back handspring to get enough spring off the beam to do the second and third layout. You take out the third layout and she has to go into the first skill slower to ensure that she doesn’t over or under do the layout and land with her chest too low or hop off the beam because she lands too far behind herself. That with the fact that she’s done that same series and her beam routine for years and years and years. You basically would have to retrain her attire approach to that event in order to continue to keep her consistent so she can stay on the beam

Yeh, I was thinking that could be the case. However, I wonder if it’s maybe not as hard as that - I recall in the infamous Kentucky beam cap situation that the girl originally fell on her triple series, when she redid it, she took the second layout out, so thought it might be an option here. I would also be interested in them trying the aerial back handspring acro series for her as they did with Konnor, though I assume if they did that they would have to increase her leap series difficulty (though not 100% sure). She just has been having difficulty with both floor and beam for the last three weeks.
