plus .. the game sold out due to A&M's proximity and head start buying tix .. LSU is close too and snapped up the rest .. supply and demand ..

what are you talking about, dickhead ? inflated prices have nothing to do with the quality of the game ..

I find this statistic even more impressive considering we are playing at the largest venue by far.

For football...capacity is only 80,000.

The Rose Bowl sits 90K

$400.00 of that is because it's LSU

You really should log off and go home from wherever it is you are stealing the internet from.

So it shows 2 fanbases (mainly one in A&M) are so desperate they are dropping on average $425 for a ticket to a freaking exhibition football game in a tough economy?

Why begrudge others for what they do with their money? Seems to me it’s usually those that can’t are the first to point and laugh, just saying.

those values are from a ticket brokerage website .. very inflated with fees and commissions .. not actual street value at all ..

Please stop your foolishness, its gone on long enough.

Yahoo sports rated the bowls and the Cotton was 5th. This years Cotton will definitely be an upgrade from previous years.

So what was your purpose in omitting #7, #8 and #9 ?

Maybe because :

"7.Bell Helicopters Armed Forces Bowl : Army Black Knights vs. SMU Mustangs: $201
8.New Era Pinstripe Bowl : Syracuse Orange vs. Kansas State Wildcats: $193
9.Maaco Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State Broncos vs. Utah Utes: $187"
... which shows the numbers are meaningless because many of the selling sources get nowhere near those ASKING PRICES ? Find me one idiot who paid $425 for a Cotton Bowl ticket. Many of those 50 sites buy en masse, sell very high, and then at the last minute you can make almost any offer and they will take it. Have cleaned up on StubHub tix many times at prices about 25-30% of their early asking price. Bought 2 Aerosmith tix last Spring from them for $35 apiece - same tix they were selling for $145 for three 3 weeks immediately prior to the concert.

I got mine processed today through LSU, on their way in the mail. Mine were $125 apiece, were there two price listings for tickets through LSU? Just trying to figure out where in the stadium mine might be before they post the actual location later this week.

There were 2 face values: $200 for club seats and $125 for everywhere else. So no way to guess what level your seats will be on until you get the actual location.

NHTIGER, I did the BCS bowls, Cotton, and skipped some because I figured LSU fans would care where other SEC teams are ranked.

you obviously don't understand the ticket market in general and your little flame is stupid .. not just the cotton bowl .. those are brokerage site values for all games .. did you go to the cap one last year ?? people were giving tix away on gameday .. three weeks earlier they were going for $300 on stubhub .. if you'd shut up you might learn something ..
