made some scheme adjustments at halftime, to counter what LSU was doing. It worked, and LSU couldn't counter and struggled, as usual, in the second half. That has been a trademark of LSU under Miles for several seasons. The Tigers didn't turn conservative. They just could not, or would not, adjust to the changes that Miss State put in place.

The stats shown dont prove this. The stats shown prove we fumbled and had penalties stop our 3 most important drives of the 2nd half.

Drives that were getting 7.1 yard per play.

Only play where we went I form over and over again was the 4th drive...which happened to be our longest and best sustained drive of the entire game until the fumble

Didn't Fournette's fumble happen on 4th down? The awful playcalling killed that drive. Needed to keep it spread out. MSU's strength was their DL and we had a nicked OL. They ran right into the strength, once again.

So here, y'all come here and get some solid facts to back up your bullshite. They don't want it. They just want to bitch. Like I said, the line has been drawn, and most of our fans on here are at the point of no return

well said. the dye is cast with a segment of our fans and they hate it when actual facts are presented. their biggest fear is that the team will play well and Miles won't get canned.

No, that drive was moving. There was a 15 yd penalty called, giving us something like 2nd and 20. "Awful playcalling" resulted in getting from that, to 4th and short.

You are either overthinking this, or intentionally being obstinate. You list MSU's strength; now list ours. Who is our most dominant offensive player? Answer is Fournette, who had well over 100 yds on the ground, and had been breaking tackles all game.

In my opinion it is the formation/personnel more than the run pass ratio. That is too much I-formation in the 2nd half - even with tough field position. If miles wants to play Stanford style with all these tight ends he needs to recruit some elite TEs. When you go Jeter, Moreau, and the FB (although he is a hell of a player) you are putting three guys that did not have another SEC offer on the field. You are leaving elite talent on the sideline. I personally believe it would benefit LF more to have three or four elite WRs/RBs on the field the majority of the time and force the opponent to matchup with another db he can run over. Let your ratio be dictated by the defensive personnel. Do not just say - we are going two tights and a FB and going to run over 9 in the box with average talent at those positions. Jmo.

Interesting.....

But anyways, I can respect that opinion. At least you bring reasoning and logic instead of just screaming for Miles' removal.

Many teams use the 3rd best tackle and change the jersey # for him and place him at TE....

Solid bump. But again, information proving people wrong gets tossed to the wayside and is ignored.
