Won’t know until we see the portal players. We are losing some pretty good players. Cant really give any guesses until we know what players we’ll have.

How do you explain the following:
Scoring defense: 14
Total defense: 24

Scoring offense: 101
Total Offense: 109

Now break down every game with the number of opportunities per game given to the offense by the defense.

Chavis was the DC for some of the best defenses we have ever had.
He had the greatest defensive backfield in the history of LSU for that stretch look at the numbers drafted from the 2010 and 2011 teams Thorpe Award winners, Heisman candidates, on and on. He also had some of the best defensive linemen we have had all on the same team.
Easy to be great with that many great players.

They should be able to randomly pick 11 people from this message board, coach us up for two weeks, and then watch how we hold a team to under 20 pts.

The defense may give up more points since Lane can get super aggressive at times, i.e.- going for it on 4th and 2 from your own 35 and not picking it up. Therefore turning the ball over already in FG range. You take the good with the bad. And I for one am willing to take it.
