2021-22 has to be the worst year of LSU sports.

The Shrimp Boat Captain, sissy blue shirts, the fishing hole, Ponasmky, the Gangsta, the FBI investigations, the opt-outs before the bowl, the mass exodus after gangsta's firing, an absolutely miserable softball team, not even hosting a regional, being outed by USM (USM??). The only bright spot - and I mean only - is Kim Mulkey.

I love LSU. But sometimes you have to admit you are sick before you can get well.

Our opponents were just better than us. Not that big of a deal. Can't win em all.

Explain how it is "entitled" to demand a quality product of the university I graduated from. I'm sure you're a "weekend" fan and not an alum. It's embarrassing for us with the diplomas.

A "down year"? Are you joking. It was a train wreck from start to finish. Something has to change and that change has to be demanded by alum and season ticket holders. We have the power to do this. We can not stand by and longer.

I have a diploma and it's not in any way embarrassing to me.

LSU Athletics is a business, and it's foolish and childish to think that your degree from LSU entitles you to demand anything of it.

Don't like the results? Don't keep sending cash to the company putting the product out there.

But it's stupid for you to think that LSU Athletics cares about the time you put in getting your construction management degree in the mid-2010's.

Here’s a tough fact for you to accept Jack arse. Not every fan has to have a diploma from LSU. Was it a bad year? Yes. Is the future bright for the schools athletic program? Also yes.

Every team you listed made the postseason.

Was it a stellar year? No. But a lot of athletic departments would love to have our "worst year ever."

EXACTLY the mentality I am talking about. So now many of our "fans" are happy with mediocrity. Sad. This is LSU. Not Utah State, not Western Kentucky and certainly not USM. LSU used to mean something.

In the last 12 months we have replaced the head coaches in the three major men’s sports.

Despite that, we are one of only about 14 schools to have all three teams participate in the postseason.

The changes you are asking for have been made. It takes time to have an impact.

You should be less concerned with the sports programs "as an alum" and more concerned with LSU's poor performance as a university. That is where your diploma should embarrass you.

A crappy bowl, bounced in the first round and ousted by USM and you're happy! Okay, yeah, alright.

On what basis do you have to "demand" a quality product? Because you graduated from the school? If you received your degree it sounds like you got your bargain's worth.

The thing LSU owes you as a FAN is admission to the game to which you purchase a ticket. They don't OWE you a satisfactory product. If you don't like, don't be a fan.

And by the way, I'd say 1994-95 was a bit rougher season

Football: 4-7...LSU's 6th straight losing season
Basketball: 12-15 (No postseason play)
Baseball: 5th place SEC finish. Did not make it to the finals of the Regional.

So even with "sub-par" seasons this year, LSU football and basketball were STILL better than 94-95. I think the "entitled" reaction comes from the fact you clearly weren't around for far worse times in LSU sports.

You can “demand it” all you want. However whining on Tigerdroppings isn’t gunna solve anything. This is a message board. Plus we just fired a boatload of coaches. It’s gunna take some time to improve. Sorry this isn’t your microwaveable TV dinner. You’re not gunna get instant results

They were ranked top 10-15 for the entire season. They have had a good program for 20 years.
