Wow, moving LSU Auburn to the week before the Iron Bowl???

Saban doin work

Interesting that Ole Miss and Arkansas are bring pushed earlier and Auburn and MSU moving later.

Not sure if that’s better or worse.

Likely get to work up a good head of team with the Florida the only big SEC foe in the first two months.

But it does set up what could be a brutal November depending on how SC and AU look.

I would imagine... Rice's home stadium has less seating capacity that where Katy High school plays

Yes.

BATON ROUGE — LSU has added two football games with Rice in the coming years as the Tigers will face the Owls in NRG Stadium in 2020, followed by a return trip to Tiger Stadium in 2024, the schools announced Tuesday. The LSU-Rice game in 2020 will be played Sept. 19, while the 2024 contest will take place Sept. 7.

Pretty tough schedule. Aub and A&M back to back on the road that late in the season is rough.

I think it was Auburn that whined about having to play UGA and Bama back to back with both on the road the same year

To accommodate Auburn they switched some games around.
If it sticks, now LSU would get Auburn and A&M on road back to back.
Arkansas is earlier now which probably helps break up our tough stretch of Florida, Auburn and like last year Georgia with no break

At least the layup games before Iron Bowl have gone away.

Hey thanks! I was just going off the roster I saw it looks like top to bottom y’all return a good bit, plus that schedule eases up (not much though!)

12-0 likely 11-1 at worst

Everything is laid out in front of next year. All our hard games are at home

4 sec games + Texas. WTF you talking about not good? Every SEC game is good. Always has been.

We get the Gumps at home and they have to play Georgia.

2020 could be the year!

I wonder if the 7/8 monotonous SEC schedule will grow tiresome.

Hopefully one day the NCAA drops the division/CCG rule and a conference like SEC can go to 4 permanent + 4 rotating (or 5+3), and take the top two in the standings for the SECCG.

Underwhelming. I would love to book at least 2 P5 games. A headliner and a lower level. Even if its lower level Pac12 team or any ACC team not named Clemson.
